I wonder how many people know about our President breaking the law that he helped sponsor in 2007. A statute that protects Inspector Generals who are working independently to protect US, THE TAXPAYERS from being ripped off by the organizations that are receiving taxpayer dollars in the form of grants. Take Kevin Johnson, now the mayor of Sacramento, California, and a good friend of Michelle Obama, and supporter of B. Hussein Obama. He received Americorp grant money for his St. Hope non-profit organization. Sounds on the up and up, right? Except the organization itself asked the Inspector General to investigate reports that he misused this money for personal and political gain. This past Wednesday the Inspector General Gerald Walpin received a phone call from the White House Council asking for his resignation or he would be fired. Hmmm, this is where it gets tricky. You see, the statute that Obama sponsored stated that NO Inspector General can be fired by the White House without a 30 day notice to the congress, and a justification, a reason as to why he wanted this person fired. That didn’t happen, and Mr. Walpin was fired immediately. Does anyone see a problem with this? We have a president who now strong arms appointed and confirmed government employees at his whim!! Preserve, Protect and Defend the constitution of the United States. I think NOT!
It’s been awhile since my last post
My apologies to anyone who may have found this blog and wondered why only one post. Well, I just came through hip replacement surgery, which was something that happened very unexpectedly. When I came home from the hospital the hard drive on my laptop was fried! I had to get it together enough to find my warranty, get a new hard drive installed, and then remember how to connect to my wireless network. Try doing that coming off anesthesia and narcotic pain pills. I’m 3 weeks post-op now and trying to get all my sites back on to my computer, what a disaster!! I’ll have a relative post, in regards to my blog title asap.
